This page describes the RIKR SMS program, who is eligible, how to opt in and opt out, and how text messaging information is handled. The system is reserved for emergency and safety communications only — it is not used for marketing, promotional content, dispatch coordination, or general operational communications.
Purpose of the SMS Program
The RIKR SMS system is reserved for emergency and safety communications only. It is not used for marketing, promotional content, dispatch coordination, or general operational communications. Those communications are handled through other systems.
Specific use cases include but are not limited to:
- Accident or incident reporting
- Driver safety emergencies
- Time-sensitive safety alerts
- Confirmation that emergency situations have been logged and escalated
When a driver texts our emergency line, our system automatically confirms receipt and confirms that the appropriate operational leadership has been notified and will follow up by phone using the contact information provided.
Who Can Opt In
The SMS program is currently available to:
- RYVO drivers
- VOX drivers
- Authorized RIKR operational personnel
Eligibility is determined at the time of driver onboarding through FORCE Solutions, which centralizes onboarding paperwork across our subsidiary companies. SMS consent is captured during the onboarding process for drivers placed with RYVO or VOX.
How to Opt In
For drivers and personnel already in our system, SMS consent is captured at onboarding through FORCE Solutions. No additional action is required.
For drivers, employees, or authorized personnel who need to opt in or update their opt-in status outside of onboarding, please complete the form below. Requests are reviewed by our IT operations team and processed within 2 business days.
Message Frequency and Rates
SMS messages are sent only in emergency or safety-related situations. Message frequency is variable and depends on operational need. There is no scheduled or recurring messaging.
Standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. RIKR does not charge for SMS messages, but your individual mobile plan may incur fees.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time.
To opt out:
- Reply STOP to any text message received from our system
- Contact our IT operations team through the form on this page with "SMS Opt-Out Request" in the message field
Once opted out, you will not receive additional SMS communications unless you opt in again. Opt-out requests are processed promptly. If you have opted out and need to be re-enrolled, contact us through the form below or through your onboarding contact at FORCE Solutions.
